This privacy policy says how we collect, use, and protect personal information on prodevs.in, talk2term.prodevs.in, and other subdomains we operate under the trade name Sudipta Dhara.
1. Information we collect
Personal information: name, email address, billing information, and similar details you send us.
Usage data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time on page, through the tools named below.
Command data (Talk2Term): text inputs and generated terminal commands, stored to improve the service.
2. How we use your data
We use data to provide and improve the services, to process payments through third-party gateways, to contact you about support, product updates, and invoices, and for security, fraud detection, and legal compliance.
3. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with payment gateways (for example Razorpay), email providers that send messages you asked for, advertising and analytics providers named below, and legal authorities when the law requires it.
4. Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar storage for sessions, analytics, and ads.
On prodevs.in we load:
- Umami, hosted at umami.sudiptadhara.in, for page analytics. This loads on each page and is not controlled by the consent banner.
- Google tag GT-WFMTMD4H, through Google Site Kit.
- Google Analytics 4 measurement G-P7BVJ0LQX3, for on-site events such as button clicks and form submissions.
- Google AdSense, for ads.
- Google Ads remarketing tag AW-1014182527, through the same Google tag.
- Microsoft Clarity, for session recordings such as clicks and scrolling.
- Google reCAPTCHA and Google sign-in, on pages that use those features.
- A first-party cookie and a localStorage entry, both named prodevs_attr. They can last 90 days. They store topic, utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, landing page, and referrer, so we can see which page or campaign brought you in, including into a form. They do not store your name or email.
If you are in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, we show a banner before we use non-essential storage. Until you accept:
- Google consent mode starts with ad storage, ad user data, ad personalization, and analytics storage denied.
- AdSense, the Google Ads tag, the Google tag, Clarity, and prodevs_attr do not load.
- Statistics covers Clarity, the GA4 event tag, and prodevs_attr.
- Marketing covers AdSense and Google Ads.
You can reject those categories. You can change the choice later from the cookie settings control. We keep a local record of the choice (time and categories, not your name) for 180 days.
Visitors outside the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland do not see this banner. The tools above load for them as described in this section.
We look up the visitor's country on our server from the IP address, using a local database, only to decide whether to show the banner. We do not send the IP to a geo service for this check, and we do not store the IP for it. IP Geolocation by DB-IP.
Talk2Term (talk2term.prodevs.in) is a separate site. It loads Plausible (plausible.io, for the domain talk2term.prodevs.in) and Google tag G-E3C4G9N7NR. The prodevs.in banner does not control those tools.
5. Affiliate links
Some pages include affiliate links. If you buy or sign up through one, ProDevs may earn a commission. We do not sell your personal data to the merchant. The merchant’s own site has its own privacy policy after you leave prodevs.in.
6. Affiliate click redirects
A link on prodevs.in that starts with /go/ is a redirect we operate. When that redirect is enabled, a click stores a daily hash of the IP address, the browser user agent, and a salt. That click log does not store the raw IP address, a cookie, or a user id. The hash salt changes each day at 00:00 IST.
7. Data retention
We keep data only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy and for legal duties.
8. Your rights
You may ask for access to data we hold about you, correction or deletion of that data, and withdrawal of consent for communication.
9. Security
We use standard controls, including encryption, authentication, and access control.
10. Third-party links
The site links to other sites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.
11. Updates
We may update this policy. We will put significant changes on this page.
